I lost about 1-2mpg with my junky Strategy Flash canned tune. And that is on the highway, so it isn't my lead foot either!! I'll be getting a set of tunes from an actual tuner soon and we'll see how much that helps.

To be honest I don't care if I had gotten half the mileage I did before the tune, I would drive with it anyway.

2006 Mustang GT Coupe, 5-spd w/ 3.55 rear axle ratio.
C&L Racer Intake, MotoBlue UDPs, DiabloSport 93 Octane Racer Tune.

Stock = 19 MPG City, 22 MPG HWY
After mods = 20 MPG City, 26 MPG HWY

Best (68 MPH, Tail Wind, 93 Octane Gas non-ethanol) = 29.13 MPG

I never drop below 19 MPG due to my City / Hwy driving.

Better. I avg. 33mph on my daily commute, combined back-road and hwy. I am getting 20.6 mpg. This is about 3mpg better than before the WMS Ram-Air. (no tune, 87 octane)

Just my opinion but I think most people will notice less mpg after a cai & tune because they can't keep their feet outta the throttle after the install.

Seriously though one thing I did notice after trying different tunes from different people is that some tunes will deliver better milage than others. Other than that, you should get better milage after these mods assuming you can keep from going WOT as I mentioned above.

Yeah, right! That 's a big assumption! There is tooooooooooooo much fun now when you press the go pedal!

I get about the same, maybe higher if you lose the pedal mashing which is way more than I did before!

Mine went up initially about 1 mpg around town and 2 mpg on a long trip but when ethanol entered my life it went down about the same. still sorting it out with the udp's and 4.10s.

Same here. Although I think I saw more like 3-5mpg increase in fuel efficiency.

I have a 05 GT with 5-speed and 3:55 gears. I drove the car about 4 months before putting the CAI and Diablo 87 Ocatane canned tune in... I kept getting a CEL with the CAI so I removed the CAI and ran the tune with the OEM box... I still got 19 mpg in city driving with better throttle response.

About 2 months ago I reinstalled the CAI and added 5% rich to the Maf curve, no more CEL and I get 19 to 20 mpg in city and 25 + on the highway at over 5,000 feet altitude. I'd say a CAI and tune definately improves MPG, if you can keep the pedal off the metal.

Only had mine about 1 MO before adding CAI + tune. I'll not complain though, usually average between 25-27MPG HWY cruise on @ 72-75.
06 manual 3.55's JLT2 + Brenspeeds 93 tune.

Honestly, I can't say that I've ever driven the car as hard (WOT to redline, gear after gear) as I have since I've gotten the tune... with that said, my f.e. is roughly the same as with the stock intake and tune.
Steeda Intake w/ hard elbow
Brennspeed SCT Tune 91 currently

I have a C&L, Steeda Charge Motion Plates, Steeda Pullies and a custom tune.

I get around 350km to a tank so I guess my milage is not very good. When the tank is empty I put more gas in it
