WhippleCharger hood clearance?
Anyone know of any hood clearance issues with the stock hood running the new intercooled whipple/FRPP blower?

I haven't heard of any, being there are no Whipples out on the s197s yet other than a few prototypes and those are the one that seemed to have an issue judging by some of the photo's Iv'e seen.

I've also seen the photos that seem to indicate some hood clearance issues, but who knows what the actual production unit will be like.

I had talked with a sales rep from Whipple and he said they will start shipping the production units out in about 2 weeks. Planning on possibly getting the black finished intercooled kit =)

LOL... we've been hearing that "2 week" line for at least a year.

no issues with the hood, you will have to remove the liner under the hood.
