Where to place Jack Stands for exhaust work?

Greetings,
Hope everyone had a great Holiday.
I got a set of Corsa Axle Backs for my Birthday and was wondering where to place the jack stands under the rear of the vehicle.
I've seen a few posts here, but nothing concrete.
I appreciate your help.

Well first off, congrats on those axlebacks! They sound great and you cannot go wrong with Corsa's quality. The best way to do exhaust work is to take a jack and proceed to place it under the rear of the car (from the back bumper cover). Then CAREFULLY place the jack underneath the differential. Before jacking the car up from this point, make sure that the majority of the jacking surface is under the differential and not on the diff. cover. Then, proceed to jack the car up to your desired height (althought I would just jack it up to it's highest point for ease during the install). Place two jack stands under the car, one on each side of the rear subframes. You will see what I'm talking about once the car is up, they are right before the rear fender wells underneath the sideskirts. That's it! However I would also recomend putting a 2x4 or something in front of the front wheels.

I would put the jack under the differential and the stands under the axle tubes.

I went with the Rhino Ramps, even though I had the jack stands

watch jacking it up like that cause you can damage your rear end cover and cause a nice leak. what i would do is, carefully jack from the differential and try to avoid damage to that cover, and put your jack stands on the pinch welds on each side of the rear.that way they are also out of your way and you got much more space to work with.

I just found this out when installing my rear springs last week that the nice spot used by TacoBill in front of the LCAs will not work with ragtops as the chasis bracing is in the way. I am doing my axle-backs soon and will probably just put the stands under the axle tubes.

I've also placed the jack stands under the axle tubes, further outwards near the LCA bracket.

Placement depends on what area of the car I'm working on.
