Where to mount and connect KB Boost-A-Pump?

I was looking over KB's instructions on how to install it, and it's no help at all.
Very generic, written for Mustangs 99+, with 2 crappy B&W pics.

I understand it gets wired into the fuel cut-off inertia switch? On our cars, it's located at the Drivers side kick panel.. not in the trunk like the instructions say.

And why is everyone installing the BAP module and dial controller in the trunk/spare tire well? Why not under the seat next to the cut-off switch?

Your turn to help out the Taco.

Need pics.. worth a 1000 words.

The location is convenient because it wires to the FPDM which is right in the trunk.
I dont think it has to wire to the inertia cut-off.

There have been some in depth discussions about this over at modular fords. Including the need for upgrading the power wire that runs to the fuel pump because it is too small to handle the extra juice. There were pictures posted of melted wires

Hey Bill,
I just saw this post or I would have replied sooner. Did you get all the info you needed or are you still working on it. If you sill need help I can post a copy of the diagram/instructions I got from Brenspeed with mine when I did the S/C install. If you need I can take some pics for you too if you would like. Mine is all in the trunk. I searched briefly @ modular fords for the wire upgrade and melted wire issue and although I didn't have time to search in depth the few I did see on the BAP seem to pertain to the sn95 so I don't know if we have the same issue with our wiring or not. I do trust Brenspeed's recommendations and advice and they didn't seem to have any issues with the factory wiring so hopefully it's OK. Let me know if you need more help and I will be happy to get you what I have.
