I am having a horrible time searching for wheels that I like. My prefferance would be black or dark grey bullit style in 18x10 and 18x9 but having zero luck with finding them for the 05.

Been to www.tirerack.com (have done business with them before top notch service and good products) and have been checking other's by google searching but have yet to find any with any wheels I like. Is it that there just isnt enough companies making rims with the proper sizing to fit the 05 or am I just not looking in the right spots?

I'm getting really tempted to just buy the 04 17'' black bullits and deal with a tire that appears too narrow for this car. I'd like to go atleast 285's in back.

I'm stuck with the "bright machined" aluminum ones, because I was impatient and bought off a lot instead of ordering.

I'm also considering buying just the factory 05 bullits which are nice, just wish they were wider in the back.

This is one of the best I've found:

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gt.htm

They've got the 18" Halibrand Cobra III wheels I've been looking for. Very large selection.

I am waiting on MRT as well as they seem the best bet to get what I want - some style of 18 inch Bullitts!

The RPM outlet does have 18" bullits in chrome, black and anthrecite. It even has the Mach 1 wheels in 18", but they're a little pricey.

www.tires.com - discount tire
www.newstalgiawheels.com - newstalgia wheels
www.wheelstudio.com
www.wheelax.com
www.bigcustomwheels.com
www.fiskeusa.com
www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com

that is a few that I have seen. If I find more I will post them

some of these seem to carry mostly "tuner" wheels, narrow and I assume a lot of people would say ricey but nice still, FISKE makes the wheels from the multimatic mustang newstalgia carries a lot of good wheels and all can be ordered with custom offset.

shouldn't this be under the exterior section as it has nothing to do with GT performance

Sorry, when I posted it I actually thought I Was in the exterior section, but I clicked the wrong thingy. However I think tire size makes a pretty big impact on performance, so it's probably appropriate.

Feel free to move it.

Thanks for the links/info guys

My fault, I crossed up some sites.... go to: http://www.crossroadzdirect.com/

you'll find what you're looking for there.

OK Just got off the phone with "Geogre" (saleman at Discount Tires) who said he could hook me up with a set of 18x9s & 18X10s Bullet style replica wheels with the correct offset for the 2005 Mustang. George said he has put a set on an 2005 - worked fine.- Try 714-901-8226 "Discount Tires" in Huntington Beach, CA - ask for George!
