wheel offset/backspacing on AM bullit wheel

American Muscle is selling 18 inch matte black bullit wheels for both 99 to 04 and 05 to 10 Mustangs. My car is a 2005 Mustang GT.

I would like to go with a 18 x 10 inch wheel in the rear with a 305/40/18 Nitto NT555R drag radial tire. Ideally, I would like to have the wheel flushed with the fender. I am wondering if the wheel from the 99 to 04 will give me this look as opposed to the 05 to 10 wheel.

Here are the back spacing and off set specs for the 18 x 10 inch wheels:

99 to 04
back spacing: 6.3"
off set: +24mm

05 to 10
back spacing: 7.2"
off set: +45mm

Thanks for the input!

Hopefully someone can help us out. I have 20x9 Shelby Razors on right now with a plus 24mm offset and they are perfectly flushed.

I can not remember the back spacing on my current wheel.

This should have been posted in the exterior mod section.

To answer your question, No the 99-04 wheels will have to much negative offset and will not work with that tire. Thye will stick out close to 2" pass the fender.

Most 305's tires are 12" wide and will bulge on a 10" wheel the 45mm offset will sit flusher than the 24mm. It's better to use a spacer than to guess offset.

Which wheel brand is AMR? GT500 replica? What is the size, back spacing and offset of your wheels?

Yes, please let me know how things fit? For some reason I am suspecting 6.3" back space and +24mm offset will sit flush but I am not 100% sure. I called American Muscle and the rep I spoke with was unsure as well.

Do you have a link to your wheel? When are you getting them put on? Cyber Monday deals just went up.

We have the these set up year specific for a reason! The +45 offset will be just about flush on your 05+, if you'd like it to be 100% flush or a little bit outside the fender then a Spacer will be good.

Give my CS team a call and they'll be able to hook you up with the best fitment for your car! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

I have the front wheels coming next week. I ordered the matte black 18 x 8 which I believe has an offset of +30mm. Do you know if this will be almost flushed to the fender as well? Before I order the back wheels I want to see how these will fit and what the lip looks like since the lip on this wheel is only 0.75 inches. I plan on going either 18 x 8 or 18 x 10 in the back. Though I am leaning towards 18 x 10.

I want to get the similar look as my Razors which are pretty well flushed at the front and they stick out a hairline past the fender in the back. They are 20 x 9 with +24mm offset. The Razors also have a +40mm offset and that would have set the wheel back too far for me in the wheel well.
