My GT has some major wheel hop!! It gets me mad thinking about it. Its odd because my GT thats a auto doesn't have this problem but my GT thats a stick does. What do I need to do in order to have the ghetto hop go away? Thanks -KEVIN

Most people will tell you to change out the Lower Control Arms first.
I will suggest changing the upper one first.
This will replace the factory hydra-bushing with a poly bushing and allow you to adjust the pinion angle if the suspension was lowered.
I had some issues with some early production LCA bushings so I was running a good part of the season with the factory LCA's in the car.
The third link alone completely eliminated the wheelhop.
I have put over 550 1/4 mile passes on my 05 last season.
The aftermarket LCA's will give you a more precise feel with their polyurethane bushings and are also highly recommended.

hmmmmmm, raising the car on a lift and dropping the tank to install the single mid mount UCA or doing each side's LCA and removing the parking brake cables.

definitely try the lca's first. it didn't help much for me so I'm going to try the UCA. I understand it can be done without dropping the tank. thump_rrr has documented it somewhere.

If you put the car on a lift you dont have to drop the gas tank, there is enough room for work from what I saw.

I need help and opinions for you all.
I am not planning on tracking my car much (1/4 mile)
I lowered my car with steeda ultra's and I am being pulled into a vortex.....no not the supercharger...try and follow me here.
Was almost convinced to go with BMR LCA's non adjustable (cheaper than steeda by 80 bucks).
Then I committed the sin of reading more...forgive me.
I read where if you lower your car you need to now add the lowering brackets for the LCA's. And this lowering changes you pinion angle (BTW what is the preferred pinion angle)..so you need to buy a upper control arm that is adjustable to re set it.
Opinion,,,,,,what do I reallly NEED to do for basic stop light drills. and the occasional drag racing on the strip.

Geez, I hear ya on the sin of more reading.....
NOW I WANT a group buy on everything that has bolts back there. I was gunna only get the LCA's...then I read more and now I want the upper and the adjustable panhard rod, and the LCA lowering brackets...
Does anyone know who has the best price on the BMR stuff? I think I am going to buy all their stuff back there.

I like BMR products but as far as the adjustable 3rd link i prefer one with a pinion snubber. On hard launches the rear suspension squats and the rear axle rotates nose up. The pinion can make contact with the uca hence the need for a inion snubber. The Steeda and the CHE Performance 3rd links both have poly bushings and pinion snubbers.

Thank you Thump_rrr
I would have made this mistake because I gave this no thought at all. Thank you.

A lot of the v6 guys are using the CHE LCA's (from powerhouse411.com), anyone know if they are any good?
They claim to not need grease...
Any reason one is better than the other?
Thanks....
