What's your take on aftermarket LCA's?

What's your take on aftermarket lower control arms? After the wheel hop I experienced at the track yesterday I think replacing the LCA's is a good place to start. I'm thinking about ordering these.http://www.cheperformance.com/cartge...pid=162&cid=15 and these also.http://www.cheperformance.com/cartge...pid=209&cid=15

Those are good prices, I haven't heard of CHE before.

I have the BMR lower control arms, non adjustable, still get a good amount of wheel hop and some rear end vibration, nose, harshness. I'll swap them out with a set of Steeda LCA's, which I've heard are better.

I also have the non-adjustable BMR's and have not wheelhopped since installing them. FWIW, I also cut one full coil out of the top of my rear springs resulting in a 3/4" drop.

Seems that switching out only the LCA's leads to mixed results. Some continue to hop, some don't. Going with both LCA's and UCA's apparently does the trick.

My car isnt lowered at all, and I have the BMR non adjustable poly LCAs and their relocation brackets, and the harsh wheel hop I had before is 100% gone.

The CHE LCAs work well for me. Granted, I have a few other suspension mods but I have virtually no wheel hop at all. Car squats & gits. Shot this video this AM:

I just ordered my LCA's. I talked to Chuck at CHE Performance and he was very helpful.

I have the CHE upper and lower control arms as well.

You have chosen wisely.

They appear to offer excellent performance especially considering the reasonable price. This was another feature I found apealling.http://www.cheperformance.com/Tech/C...n_Bushing.html
I can't wait to get them and install them. The next time I hit the track I hope to have these and my Hurst shifter installed. Then next a Airaid CAI.

I have LCAs and still get wheel hop sometimes, depending on the road surface and traction. I need to get an upper

Let is know how they work for you. I noticed a lot of extra noise when I installed my LCAs. I actually removed them and haven't put them back in. The Steeda Upper link almost eliminated the hop on the street, but I will need to put the LCAs back in for the track.

I can live with a little extra noise. But I can't live with wheel hop at the track. I also ordered the anti-squat LCA relocation brackets. It will be 2-3 weeks before I get them then install them.

might have to buy an upper as well. Lowers cured my wheel hop on the street, but not at the track.

It seems I've read several times that the BMR's had more noise and didn't totally fix the wheel hop. But, adding the brackets and the upper did. I've got a set of Steeda lowers on order, so I'll compare the noise level and amount of wheel hop between the two. If that doesn't fix it, I'll get the uppers and that should solve it.

I've got CHE LCA's, working great, very quiet, no NVH that I can tell, feel real solid. I like 'em! Didn't replace the bolts either, and this is the third set of LCA's I've had.

Just got mine on yesterday and if there's any more noise over stock I sure can't hear it. I like the fact that they come with a clip for the e-brake cable.

Did you do upper and lowers. I did both but the upper had so much play and noise with it, I had to replace it with the stock upper link. Turned out the play and the extra hard bushing was just to much. Sounded like my rear end was going to come apart everytime i lifted or shifted.
