whats a good drag wheel?

What are good drag wheels for the 05+ mustangs? I have heard that anything smaller than 17'' wont fit our cars. Weld and Mickey thompson dont make a 17'' wheel. What is everyone else doing?

The best wheel by far is the bogart race wheels. Use them in conjunction with a Mickey thompson ET and watch the 60 foot times drop!

And you'd need longer studs (if you're using standard Weld skinnies).

I just bought a set of 15X10 from hotshoot wheels.

Center Powder coated in blue. I'm pretty sure it will be awsome on my car.

What is the backspacing on those? Have you already relocated the swaybar?

so basicly the only choices i have as far as wheels for the track are to put drag tires on my stock 17's or to custom order some 15's from someone like Bogart?

Or get lucky and find a used pair of the discontinued Weld "XP" style wheels. Your best bet there would be a 15x9, with 5.5" backspacing. That's what I have.

I would vote to buy a set of stock 17" wheels and put ET streets on them, like from Brenspeed. Unless you have enormous power or just plain money to spend, whatelse is cheaper and gets the job done?

I was thinking of that. After two years of drag racing, and two years of spinning i needed to go to the next level.

I saw a lot of 05 on DR, sometimes it was good and next run it was spinning. DR are good. but not so consistant it seems. And i'm doing bracket race every week end. So going directly to slick. And waiting this year to have my stall and other good things. Why buying DR and have to change after because it's not good enough. Going directly to the best.
