Okay, there are 4 things I would love to be removed or somehow modified so the engine comparment can appear to be a bit more clean looking.

What are these and how can we do without them or modify them to be not so much of an "eye sore"?

For # 4 Im pretty sure I could just mount a k&n type breather assembly but what can I do for these others if anything at all?

I think # 2 and # 1 are related to the gasoline venting system.

I think # 3 is the crankcase evac but I could be wrong.

I know more about classic motors and the lack of such equipment, cant you tell? :P

Did you mean to upload an image for #1, #2, #3, #4 so we can see what you are referring to ?

I left #2 unplugged by accident when installing the fuel rail adapter and started the car and it immediately went rich and then into failsafe so I probably wouldnt touch that one.

I am from the old school too - years ago you could remove things or plug them up and usually get away with it, but I don't think it is that easy now.

The computer is monitoring so many things, input from sensors, etc. Remove or disable one sensor or function, and it can affect many other things.

Plus, I think the modern engine designs have really cleaned up all the wires and hoses that used to be on the 70's and 80's cars.

Just my $.02
