What is stock ride height?

I just intsalled the CDC Foose suspention kit and forgot to check the ride height before we tore into it. So could somebody tell me the stock ride height from floor to wheel well? After install I'm at 27 3/4" front and 28 3/8" rear. I knew it would be mild drop but, I can tell it came down some. And I know it will settle some too.

Thanks in advance. And yes I tried a search, but came up empty. And you and I both know it's on here somewhere...

If you had asked this question a week and a half ago i'd be able to tell you. I'm sure someone will chime in about it though...

Almost helped. There was one measurement in there, but didn't say front or back. But I'm going to steal their better explanation of what measurement I want on both front and rear.

"If anyone with a stock 2005-09 GT could measure the distance from the ground to the lip of the front fender well (at the highest point) would be appreciated."

I am hoping someone with a stock ride height will check theirs for me. Otherwise I'll have to go hit the used car lots. All my friends have lowered there Stangs. I was holding off and went with this mild lowering because I have the CDC front chin spoiler on, and would rub at stock heights.

Ed, thank you. I looked at a lot of those pages and din't see that. And also trird a search. Thank you so much. I was carrying a tape measure with me all day hoping to find a stock Mustang to measure.
It's a great testament to how much people are enjoying these cars, modding them up! I mean really, nobody that read this could just go out and measure their car, already lowered. Cool......

I thought it was the front lip which gave the car the appearance of being lower?

Well, you got the numbers now, so you can measure and see. I know my buddies Bullit is about 1/2" lower than stock GT but, when I measured his, mine now is a bit lower.

best to measure from the bottom lip of the rim, not the floor

Hey Steve, my Foose kit just came in as well. Haven't had the time to put it in yet.

How did the install go?

Any pitfalls I should be aware of (besides renting the spring tensioner)?

How does it ride? Any perceivable difference in handling/roughness?

Install went well. I have a friend with a lift. The worst part was nuts in the trunk for the shocks. It was 100 outside and hooter in the trunk. It went easier than I exspected, my friend is good at this stuff. I follow directions well.

The ride to me is smoother than the stock was. As for handling, It was good before, and must be better now. I havent been to autocroos yet but, again I'm a novice in that, so we'll see.

It was well worth it for sure. 1" lower and rides better than stock. Great bang for the buck$$$
