What mid pipe to go with SLP loudmouths?

I'm looking for a mid pipe to go with my slp loudmouths. I want it to be LOUD! I was going to get the bassani offroad x pipe but then had second thoughts because some have posted about the trumpeting. Can anyone recommend a mid pipe to go with the loudmouths that doesn't trumpet? Or am I SOL? I have never actually heard the "trumpet" sound so I don't even know what it sounds like. I've just read it sounds bad. My stang is an 07 GT/CS and is not my daily driver. Any advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Well, i can definetly say i had trumpeting pretty bad with my Magnaflow Catted X and SLPs, and SLPs with an offroad mid would sound pretty terrible imo. Maybe one of the new MRT catted Hs or a catted prochamber may not have trumpeting as bad or at all.

Usually almost anytime you remove the factory catted H, you'll get trumpeting.

Ok. What would I need to do for it not to trumpet? Take off the loudmouths and get something else? Are there any axlebacks that will sound mean but won't trumpet with an offroad x pipe?

The only axlebacks that I know of that have very very little trumpeting with an offroad pipe is Corsa- that's why I have them. I have an offroad H, here's a clip:

They're not cheap though! I figured instead of buying a $500 catted pipe and $300 axleback, I'd go with a $150 offroad pipe and a $600 axleback. My only regret with this system is at wide open throttle, it is LOUD.

That's cool, but it seems to me that basically your resonators are performing the same duties as factory Ford or highflow cats- adding just enough restriction in the exhaust to eliminate the trumpets. I had posed the question previously to people that have added resonators to their midpipes- how much did it affect your power output? No one could answer the question. I'm sure your car sounds great, but I just question the performance affect of having resonators installed instead of just using the correct style of muffler.

resonators shouldnt do anything performance wise.... they are still competely straight thru with the same diameter.

If I would have never heard about trumpeting from this site I would have never noticed. I can barely notice it only when down shifting. It doesn't bother me at all. Definently go off road though, there's nothing like it.
