What mid-pipe with Boom Tubes?
So I have the Boom Tubes on the way and was wondering what mid pipe to go with. I want to keep my factory cats for now. I was thinking about going with the Ford Racing Xpipe for pricing. I also saw a few pro chambers. What do you guys think?

usually as far as straight through muffler designs like the boom tubes, they use Xpipes. chambered mufflers like flows use Hpipes. there is always an exception, like as far as mine being a straight through design but i use a off road h pipe cause it sounds better. i say try the boom tubes with your stock h pipe and see how you like it, if you are looking for something a little different then try the x pipe.
as far as the prochamber mid pipes, i dont really know much about them so someone else is going to have to comment on those.
the thing to remember with mufflers are: Chambered=H pipe
Straight through= X pipe
there is always personal preference. its your ears that you have to satisfy in the end. good luck.

And unfortunately, I don't know of a straight-through (bullet) muffler that didn't drone...except for Corsa and I don't want Corsa.
Do you know of any bullet mufflers that don't drone?
I'm told boomtubes don't drone. But hearing outside video clips of the low tones they make, that's hard to believe.

Ok These things are not for the feint at heart. It sounds awesome though. I drove with my windows down after installing them at 3am in 35 degree weather. There is noticeable drone at between 1600 and 2k rpms but before or after that, its still pleasant inside the cabin.
