What intake do I have?

The intake was on the car when I bought it. Uses a K&N filter and looks like they just slapped the decal on there. K&N doesn't make their own intake for the car do they?

Dang, was hoping it was someone else, should I bother getting a tuner to go along with it? Doesn't look much different than the JLT everyone raves about though honestly.

I believe the K&N is a no-tune intake, meaning it has the same size maf housing as stock. so it basically doesn't do anything but look pretty. A tune will get you started in the right direction but I would think about ditching that CAI and get something better.

Would you mind posting a pic of your heat shield and air filter ? I can't really tell from the image what brand the heat shield is.. It kind of looks like the JLT III shield, but I won't know for certain until I see a full image..

Another way to tell if it's a JLT.. You'll see the letters JLT stamped on the intake tube..

If I had access to the car in such a way I'd be happy to. However it's in winter storage and nobody has access to any of the vehicles until their designated day of release in spring
