What Guides/Manuals do you Use when working on your 05+ Mustang

Greetings,
I haven't worked on a car since the demise of my 87 Mustang GT, back then the fox platform was well documented and guides were easily found.

What's the defacto standard for today's Mustangs?
(08 GT/CS Vert in my case)

When I'm ready to start my mods, (Mine is only 2 weeks old) I'd like a reference for how to take this part off, replace that part, etc. (Sort of a step by step how to strip down the vehicle)
Thanks!

Hi MR STANG,

If you call your local Ford dealer and ask I'm pretty sur the Factory Shop Manuals are not quiet available yet but should be out soon. They are sold as paper manuals or on CD which is sort of like having a new paper manual each time you want to work on a particular part of the car. You can also save some money if you order the manuals on line from Helm. Helm is the publisher of these CD manual and paper manual and you can order direct from their website.

HTH!

If there isn't a TacoBill write-up on it, I don't need to do it.

The very first place I look is here: Service Manual Guides. Lots of good stuff there.

And in particular, post #83 of that thread has a link to a recently available online service manual, courtesy of an S197Forum member! Very cool!!

I use a ford factory service manual that contains everything inlcuding wiring diagrams I picked up on dvd-rom off ebay(15 bucks). I use it in conjunction with a Haynes since the FSM isn't always 100% clear since its written for ppl used to working on fords on a regular basis.

Also taco bills write ups are impressive in their detail and pictures. I havent worked on my s197 yet, but the combo of fsm and haynes on my s95 never left me guessing.
