I have a question. I want to get a deeper, "throatier" sound But not neccessarily louder, What is the coolest after-market system? How much? Where do I get one?

Thanks people!

I am sure they will do what needs to be done. No need for backseat moderating.

Is there a way to have a shop install each and then decide on which one sounds the best? I doubt it's possible but a shop that had test versions would be really cool

Oh no, I'm sorry you have no real E-powers. Now stop derailing the thread. I for one would like to hear this discussion, as I am not sure which exhaust provides the best sound and HP gain.

On a related note to this thread, does anyone know if Magnapack are legal in California? I would think not. Maybe I should find that rep that’s on the boards or email them. Their website says to contact local law enforcement to find out so it sounds like it varies from place to place.

As I said, go to the stickes. under performance you will see a bunch of exhaust systems being compared.

The search tool is your friend. You think I am derailing this thread, you are all wasting your time by trying to start a new one when this topic has already been covered in great detail.

you never said to look at the stickies nor did you say it was already discussed, of course i know it was but thats not the point the point is you were rude about saying it needed to be moved why not just let them know politely that they should check in the performance section

By saying "Moderators, this should be moved to the performance section....right? " I don't think that is rude at all. Being rude would have told the guy to smarten up and use the search tool but I didn't say that because I am not that type of person.

I simply left a comment for the moderators and it was not directed towards anyone else.

I am just trying to help keep this site "user friendly". A lot of us are getting tired of seeing post after post about the same thing because people do not want to use the search feature.

If it makes you happy I will say this.....

I have installed both the standard Magnaflow mufflers on my car and then installed the Magnaflow Magnapack system with cat-back pipes. They are a lot louder and you do get some drone noise.....

Now if you go to the proper section in the forum you will see the rest of that information and more including info on JBA, Bassani, etc etc etc.

First of all I did not create the thread. I am just adding to a thread and not “wasting my time”. Second I see no "stickes" nor do I see any Stickied threads in ( S197 GT Tech &) performance.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=11049

As soon as you go to that main page I see 9 posts alone on exhaust systems.

I was looking for Stickied threads, as I was advised to.

Also I still see nothing on the legalities of magnapacks in California. Considering that was my only question in this thread. Once again I know it’s hard to believe but I did not start this thread. You can confirm this by looking at the original posters name and then looking at my name, if it still does not stink in you can double or even triple check. Thanks!

Some of you guys need to lighten up a bit, adrenalin was far from rude.
