Thiniking of picking these up. Though I would love to have a set of Brembo or Willwood, cost is an issue.

They don't even tell you what size they are. I would be weary of a company selling brakes without telling you the dimensions.

Gotta be careful, if painted they might cause cancer.

I can vouch for R1Concepts rotors. I have 12K miles on mine and no cracks or any issues. They were the best price on slotted/drilled rotors I could find at the time that had a customer service that spoke English.

They are NOT for track use. If you want something sexy and durable...it's gonna cost you.

I do autocross so they would see some fairly good use from time to time.

I bought some SS brake lines today. I am in Canada and get everything shipped to my parents in Arizona where they spend the Winter. When they get home in April, it is like Christmas all over again, except no surprises and I paid for it!

Cost is an issue....that is usually the case with everyone but I ask you this....Do you want to do this ONCE or do it again? At that point how much have you saved?...you've lost. My advice is to save a little longer and buy a better product. You DO get what you pay for and these are Powerstop rotors which are made in china and are crap for quality.

A Job worth doing is worth doing right....buy the good product and buy it ONCE...and don't look back.

I specialize in high performance brake systems and have for years...and I have removed more Powerstop/Powerslot rotors from customers cars and given them to the scrap man than I can remember.

You would be better off to buy a GOOD set of brake pads on your stock rotors than buy the combination in your link!

Remember....cheap is cheap for a reason. Even the most expensive brakes out there are more reasonable than a stop at the body shop

Well, you have some good points, but I have done autocross for 3 years with the factory brakes and haven't gone to the body shop yet. I am sure Powerstop/Powerslot rotors are still better that stock. Not the best, but better. I can change out a set of those rotors 5 times to the price of a set of some of those out there.

Those won't do anything to improve your braking performance.

If you want to STOP, just switch out the pads to Hawk HP Plus or EBC Yellowstuff and keep the stock type rotors. Cross-drilling and slotting is for appearances only.

Also, switch out your brake fluid for something with a higher boiling point. Most street racers prefer Motul's RBF600, but it's pretty pricey. Valvoline's Synpower Dot 4 Equivalent does just as well at a fraction of the cost.

Stainless Steel brake lines will help pedal feel, also.

Thanks for the link. I just outbid you.

Here's my suggestion;

1st - Stainless steel brakelines
2nd - Better pads
3rd - Better brake fluid
4th - Slotted rotors
