I'm going to be in the same boat soon... cams will be here around tax time, but I won't have time to install them until April (car is tucked away for the winter). Just curious- are you doing 4:10's? I won't hesitate to do the cams myself, but not the gear.

This is not blue *****... It would b blue ***** if you lubed up the outer walls to begin penetrating the internals to install your load and were unable to CUMplete the the task, in some people's situation by hand....

I'm on the fence between doing 373s and 355s. That's prolly like a year out but I'll take that to a specialist I know.

Is there an easy way to check what gear ratio you have? I know you can turn the differential an how many turns it takes for the wheel to go around one time? I could be completely wrong but I know its something of that sort. Is there any other way though, just curious.

Yea that's right. Turn the axel one full spin and however many times the wheel spins is your gear ratio ie one spin gets you 3 3/4 turns you have 373s. If you know it's stock then it's stamped on the pumpkin... What year is yours?
