Alright, I want to get SLPs (They only make a GT version) put on my v6 but I don't know how to go about doing it. The axle-back system is about $300 but I don't want to pay the exhaust shop to have to fabricate the driver-side pipes b/c that may get expensive. Is there a way I can:

1) Buy the 2 SLP tips ($55/ea)
2) Buy driverside GT OEM exhaust pipe ($75)
3) Have shop connect all the pieces to my Pro Chamber

Would I be missing something? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you just want the tips or the loud mouth axle back? You could order the loud mouths and just instal the one, then when/if you decide to go dual exhaust you could add the other.

That is if the right GT exhaust is a direct fit, which I think it is.

Yep, I want dual SLP tips coming out the back. I'm just a little weary because I don't know if the driver-side GT pipe comes with the...I guess its called the axle-back part, right?

See this is the part I'm worried about being a direct fit:

The part that is semi-whited out are the tips. If I just bought the tips would the driver-side and the passenger side GT pipes fit just the tips?

The "over axle" pipes on the GT attach right where you see the clamps in that photo.

I'm sure they could make some extensions, but you would also be missing one of the two hanger rods. Of course, I'm not sure if that matters when fitting these to a V6... I don't know what they look like under there.

I don't know if the frame is drilled/tapped for them like on the GT, nor do I know how it would align with the rear bumper (no cutouts like on the GT).

with the GT bumper.... I think you would have a winning booty on your hands.
