we have a couple of open weekends at the trackMAM TRACK PAGE is there any interest???
i thought hard about barber motorsports park but they mention armco barriers in the opening sentance of thier web page( armco is that metal wall the keeps you away from the edge of the canyon)
what this means is that if you mess up the car is wrecked.
i could sponcor an 05/06+ mustang event at the track. we also have armco barriers, but in order to hit one something would have had to go WAY wrong. we also have an 1/8 mile drag strip for you automatic guys the drag strip hooks hard, as it an nhra sanctioned points track!!
if there is enough interest i could make the weekend very affordable to forum members we could race the 1/8th or ,
go fast, brake hard turn right/left ect.
p.m. me if the interest is there i need 50 cars to make it affordable to everyone

If you get enough people I'd be in on it.
As far as MAM "hooks hard", every time I've raced there (friday night run what you brung) the track hooks for crap. It's probably better on Saturdays when they're doing bracket racing and putting down the sticky stuff.
Either way it's fun.
Jay, are you in Midwest Stangs? If not you should check it out.

blue,
on friday nights we have a lot to overcome
we have lots of new racers that drag a lot of "stuff" on to the track
untill late last year we still had a gravel road up to the gates( if the wind was blowing all that dust hurts the
traction at the drag strip, now that 192nd is paved the dust issue is a thing of the past!
i did a video of the ethanol nats last year and 200 hp cars were wheels up.
granted if your not running race(drag)tires the track will not hook, as it is not optiminized for non
drag tires. mrs tko's explorer wont "hook" with all wheel drive!!!
and no im not, but im interested!!
shoot me a pm and let me in on the midwest stangs thing
