Is anyone here running their car with underdrive pulleys? If so, how noticable was the HP gains. What about warranty coverage? Will an underdrive pulley void your engine/drivetrain warranty?

Steeda Pullies here. It was very noticeable, the car Rev. a lot quicker and you punched it, it went! Very nice investment and good power gains. And no, pullies wont void your warranty!

I love mine, I have heard of folks not getting warranty work with them on. We all know the Moss-Ferguson act, but we also know the "application of such warranty" is highly subjective.

My opinion, how ever humble, do it. I love mine and I squeeked out even more HP.

What about the motoblue pulleys? I have a Diablosport 87 octand tune, and will be installing a AEM bruteforce CAI this weekend. I am considering a pulley kit to compliment it.

I thought about 4.10's, but this is an everyday car, and I don't want to kill my gas mileage.

With the mods in my sig, minus the UDP's, I was able to do a best of 13.208. With the UDP's and taking out the spare tire netted me a 12.90. So the gain is definately worth it.

+1 for the pullies. Car def pulls for the extra power. I have had no problems with the Steeda's.

So no one has had problems while idling? Their A/C? Or their water pump/pressure? Or their Alternator giving out due to a lack of power? I have been contemplating for awhile now whether or not to purchase the pullies, any advice will be appreciated.

No to idle, a/c or alt. If you are running a super stereo system, you might want to rethink.

Not sure on Motoblue. Steeda's were on sale for about 200.00. I am sold on them. Make sure you swap out the alternator bolt or you will ruin your drive belt.

CAI's are great too, you don't see the factory suppling those, do you? They don't for a simple reason....$$$

FRPP obviously produces all of these parts which leads to more dough in Ford's hands.

I have been driving mine in 90+ degree heat. So far, so good.

No issues here either and I've been running them about two months. There's a couple of guys from Arizona that posted on another board that they are running them in 110+ degree heat with A/C and they're not having any problems.

I have the Roush pulleys and can tell you there was no noticable difference with the A/C, Alternator or even the water temp; As for performance gains, not feeling a huge seat of your pants difference, butin my case it was the last mod added so the car already felt very quick!

i have had my steed udp on since the car had 1500 miles,have not had a problem yet and i drive with the ac on all the time you will be fine.

As to why Ford does not offer them(or CAI or 4.10's), my thoughts are:

1. So FRPP can sell them
2. Only 1/3 of all mustangs are GT's
3. Look around your town or city, how many modded ones are they (no, changing rims and/or slapping a K&N filter on does not count)
4. Not everyone wants to squeeze out every HP out of there car.
5. If they did, what a boring world we would have, look for the first time FRPP is offering a Drag pack for the first time since, uuuuuhhh 1969.
