Sounds like the dyno pulls were done in third instead of fourth.

If you look at the videos (the inside car one) the car shifter seems to be in third gear, not in fourth ... H-Town-Speed seems to be right !!!!!

If this is the case than these numbers are worthless ....

What were oil temps/pressures?

Kinda sounded like a tractor trailer at the end...
Same oil pressure. Oil temps we have not measured yet.

The reason it sounds like a tractor trailer is because the camera is directly above the engine bay. The clicking you're hearing is the strong magnetics of the injectors.

The dyno pulls WERE done in 3rd gear. This is only because there are some areas in the flash software that are not as developed as we'd hoped. We are waiting for SCT to further develop their software as we don't feel comfortable doing full dyno pulls in 4th gear. Depending on application, we sometimes tune in 3rd gear first, and our final tune is always performed in 4th. Next video we have, I'll make sure you all know it's in 4th. These dyno videos are made to show everyone our progress. We have nothing to hide, which is why we give videos as opposed to dyno charts only.

Thanks,

Darryl

Cool!! Can't wait to see the dyno results fully tuned with 8 psi and on a fourth gear pull. Keep up the great work and :worship: to Ultimate Racing for putting out a sweet turbo kit.

Man I dont go online for a week or so and look what I miss!
Indy I dont think anything was "smoked out" it was obvious in the vid that it was 3rd gear at least to me?
I am really impressed by that torque curve! I was afraid that there would be a lot of lag with this setup especially after talking with a friend of mine who has a GN but by 2700 the torque is already passing the stock #s
Cant wait to see the results once you guys turn up the boost!
I do have one question though wouldnt a full 3 inch exhaust be beneficial at this point?

wait a min i got all excited about your results then went home and though about how your results are inacurate.

At 3.5lbs of boost the maximum rwhp you could have assuming a perfect system with no hp loss would be (assuming 260rwhp stock) about 320rwhp... it is simple math. Please explain how you got the extra hp when at atmospheric pressure you have 260 hp and adding 1/4 more atmospheric pressure (3.5lbs) you gain almost 100 hp, i know it would actually take closer to 6-7lbs of boost.
I am just curious because i will definatly get a twin turbo for my 05 when it comes in but i want acurate info from my choise in venders.

Thank you,
Danny

idea:

ok im by far NO expert. not even close. but im wondering. wouldnt it be equal to about 7psi anyway? its a TWIN turbo. that means two right? so if its 2 turbos at 3.5 psi each, thats around 7psi ne way?

someone correct me if im wrong cuz i probably am. i really dont know much about this. but it kinda just popped into my head and had to be said

3.5psi boost is 3.5psi boost, its not 3.5 per turbo

Wonderful that you guys are having such great results. That took a lot of engineering, trial and error as well as a lot of sweat. I do not think this is a user install. LOL I would bring my car to you for sure but then you have never said it was for sale. I am extremely impressed with this. A real SLEEPER for sure!!

Good results. I am a member on my350z.com and had considered Ultimate Racing's 350Z TT kit, but i've decided it just wasn't for me. These guy's make a great kit and i'm sure they'll have plenty to offer to Mustang owners.

Are you going to include any type of coating on the turbo's or maybe an insulation kit for the exhaust housing?

Coating will most likely be an option. We have always used HPC HiperCoat Extreme. It's probably the most expensive coating on the market but it definitely works!

We're still here! Very little progress has been made since my last post. We are STILL waiting for SCT Tuning to further develop their flashing software so that we can continue onto 8psi.

Good news to hear you are lurking about still!

Looking forward to seeing what develops with this kit as well.
