Okay here we go........The twins are coming along fine...
we are strting to wrap things up....
I would like to use my axle back "LOUD MOUTHS"
the turbows will have thier own custom exhuast headers....
IF? we add a pair of resonators ...
heres my question........

WHAT? crossover / midpipe/ x-pipe /h-pipe should/ could I use?

Whats are your thougts and recommendations

I thought turbos pretty much eliminated the mid-pipe altogether? What kit are you using?

Gus I have headers, a Pypes offroad H pipe, and 18" Dynamax resonators welded onto the over-axle pipes. I use this setup and have ran both SLP Loudmouths and Borla mufflers with it; here are some videos:

Loudmouths:

stay away from the X, the BEST option would be to not run a cross over of any kind and just run stright pipes.

I like the Borlas a lot better with your setup. Very nice sounding car.

Seriously... I wouldn't run a crossover. Turbo's are ridiculously sensitive to backpressure. I'd run true dual 2 1/2 or 3". Backpressure has some effect on the speed with which the turbo's spool, so less is better, and None is best... and all a crossover will do is to give the chance to have the pressure from one effect the other. If your heart is set on one... I'd go for a prochamber before an X or an H.

, that strikes me as odd since a prochamber is just a common dump for the exhuast, unlike an X or an H ( you could call them balance tubes but they really dont balance pressure by bleeding over, they have a bigger effect on the resonant tuning of the system).

I'm no turbo guru, but It sounds like two straight pipes are the way to go. I've always been told with turbos, just run the pipe and forget about mufflers, especially if your running cats.

You can but its a little too loud for what I want with this car. Im right on the edge with power, but Im trying to get them to spool a little quicker.
