I'm no expert on tunes but i would say 'yes'. Your fuel and air mixture is going to be messed up. I got a 'no tune' C&L c.a.i. but i know i will have to have my tune changed when i add shorty headers when and if anyone ever makes some for the 2011 V-6.

While it may run within the stock ECM's parameters, if you want the most out of your performance investment (and hard work putting those headers in), you want a tune.

You will want the tune to be updated. When using LT's, you end up moving the oxygen sensor further downstream. The ECU will be seeing different values coming from the sensor that it will be expecting, and that could cause some issues with idle as well as low-speed driving (when it's in closed-loop mode). Whoever is doing your tune will have to add in an "offset" value to account for the moved O2.
