Thanks ERC5.0 and INTRUDER, I’m looking forward to seeing the pictures. I’ll post some more pics when we get further along. I have been out of town and my guy has been Ill so not much has been done the last couple of weeks. I am hoping to get it finished soon but I don’t know how long I’ll have to wait to get it tuned, their pretty busy this time of the year.

Congrats! I know you've spent a lot of money, but so many of us are enjoying what you're doing to the GT.

BTW, I hope you don't have any tuning/drivability issues with the auto/turbo combo.

Earl,
I hope you have the car finished by FFW the end of this month. I see you opted out of the intakes from the fenders.

I am really hoping to have it done for FFW but it will depend on getting the tune done. Yes I decided I just didn’t like the bend in the tubing and the way filters fit in the planned location. I would rather have a straight shot of air into the turbo’s even if it meant going with the higher under hood temp air.

Thanks. I know it will take a major effort to get this thing tuned correctly but I have confidence in the guy doing the tuning so hopefully everything will work out.

Maybe a cowl hood in your future?

Yes I have a Steeda race version cowl hood going on. I will also be installing CDC duck tail spoiler and billet front grill, SHR side window louvers, GT/CS rear bumper and Xenon aggressive style front fascia.

Are you using a secondary oil pump for your turbos or is that all gravity fed? My turbos are mounted by the trans and needs a secondary pump for it to work. I was wondering if you could recommed a silent oil pump that is secondary and can be mounted underneath the car. The pump i have has an annoying sound and i have to get rid of it.

No my return lines are gravity feed. You could talk to STS about what pump they use on their setup. I know they are using a pump to return the oil to the system.

The latest update is I won’t make FFW with the car. I had a major problem with the fuel system that took 2 weeks to trace down. When we finally got the car to the point that we could turn the power on and check the fuel system for leaks we couldn’t get the fuel pumps to fire. Everything on the system checked out but the computer would show the FPM out of range and would not turn on the pumps. It finally turned out to be a wire that runs from the computer all the way to the rear for the FPM’s had a brake in it that had about 4 filaments of a 10 filament wire still connected. This caused the continuity to check as good, so we didn’t think there was a problem, but the wire wouldn’t carry the required voltage so the computer would shut everything off. The only way this was finally found was my guy traced all the wires in the entire fuel system and checked the voltages along the way. I am finally back getting things finished but since I can’t make FFW I am now going to go ahead and do all the body work, before I get it tuned, so it will be completely finished after the tune.

IT'S Alive!!!

I started the Beast up for the first time today, just to check for leaks so only ran for a little while. One of these days I'll actually get it finished. Here are a couple shots of how the cold side piping we made came out. What do you guys think?
