When i am launching at the Drags i am getting a bog After I hook up.I have been told that the 05 has a Torque Load Sensor that the computer will adjust the throttle and timming under hard loads.Anyone know how to over-ride this or if a tune will shut it off?

I just sent the question to DiabloSport george.I have a feeling this was my problem on friday night. It launched awesome then the motor layed over for a plit second, then the power returned.
So how did that guys mustang,s computer turn out that you were working on at the track?Boy, Did I get my street tires back on just In time before it poured out.I got so many runs in that I did not stick arround and see if rain slips were handed out.

Hey George, are you by chance moving to S. Florida anytime soon, maybe Palm Beach County area? I could use someone like you around the track Fortunately, I haven't had any issues at the track...well, except for taking out all the spider gears on a brand new Auburn Pro differential (4 passes and a weeks worth of daily driving). Auburn is sending me a new one. They've changed the metal they were using in them to some sort of aircraft metal. Any takers on the Diff? It'll be brand spanking new!

I noticed the same thing 2 weeks ago at the track. Bone stock the car ran 13.6@99 (auto). I installed JLT/DTP combo, and the et went to 13.7, but the mile per hour went to 102. I launched the same way as stock, but it bogged off the line.

It should take you more than one trip to the track to get your launching downpat. What are your 60' times?

Dear Michael mccarthy,

Is your Predator on the latest revision? If not, that may be why you are experiancing issues off the line. The newer revisions of the Predator software fix issues such as this. Please take a look at the downloads page of our website for more information on what the latest is for your tuner:

Thank you for your interest in DiabloSport!

If you read your MUSTANG & FAST FORDS mag AUG issue page 143 you will see what I am talking about.I might call them and see what they did to overcome this problem.

I have the SCT Xcalibrator and no longer have to worry about the Torque Load sensor.

I second that!!!!SCT maybe more cumbersome for a tuner to use, but I don't have any issues when they build a tune. The only problem I've had with SCT is my patience waiting for the XCal2, which is not really a big deal.

I spoke with him today as well. He, himself, is running 100mph, but will spend the time talking to you without rushing you or cutting you off. I ordered my Bogart's from him. I asked him about making me a custom tune, but he was up front and honest with me and told me he couldn't provide service to me the way he'd like to. Standup guy!

Justin told me today that his customer's were all over him. Not that you want to here this, but some have been waiting for 2 MONTHS. Ouch. Bogart told him today that they were catching up. He might start keeping them on hand. I'm just hoping your wait is due to ordering while they were moving and mine will be shortly thereafter.

ive been experiencing a lot of problems while trying to burn out which i think are due to the torque load sensor... i start to wheelhop almost and the car starts to shake and bog down. ive done 100's of burnouts in my 03 cobra so i know im doing them properly... what can i do to overridethis darn function!

I'm not certain on the Diablo tuning but I do know on the SCT tuning that the Torque Reduction can be turned off. Not only does this affect you on take off but during shifts the computer will actually retard timing to ensure a smoother shift. Simply turning this off will make a huge difference in the way the car feels overall.

Thanks, Doug.
