tokico d-spec adjustment : easily done?
hello all,
how difficult is it to adjust the d-spec?
i know stangsuspenion has the remote for the rear..
can i just reach in the front to adjust the front struts easily??
Or do i need to lift the car every time to adjust?
thanks all!

It couldn’t be any easier, directions come with the Tokico’s. There is a small cap on the top of the strut that you unscrew and put the adjustment tool, comes with the Tokico’s, in the top and turn it all the way to the stop which is full firm. Then you can play with adjustments by backing it out a turn at a time till you find what you like. I run mine at 5 out from firm front and 6 rear for DD and 2 ½ front and 3 1/2 rear when I want to have some fun on back roads.

In the front, you just pop the hood and unscrew the caps on top the strut and insert the adjutment tool or allen wrench. In the rear, you need to pull back the trunk lining to get to the caps.
Just an fyi, the dspecs only provide adequate damping up to about 250lb springs. I'll be removing mine in the next couple weeks. For street use though, they were a great bargain.

If the extra cost isn't an issue, the dspecs offer some adjustability, but you may not need that. Also consider the new Bilstein shocks, which are high quality, but not adjustable.

I, like many others, have Eibach Pro's and Tokico d-specs and they are an awesome combo.
like ^ said, in the rear you will have topull back the liner and if you have the shaker sub in the truck you will have to remove that to see what your doing in the rear unless you have a mirror and flashlight and an extra set of hands to hold them for you.
