I've got some of the 18x9 chrome bullitts on order from Wheel Replica, and I was wondering which tires are the best for that size wheel? The guy at Wheel Replica said they have been putting on Sumitomo tires and that they were $159 apiece. Are those even good tires? I figured I would post my question here because everyone is so knowledgeable about the rest of performance stuff.

I couldn't say first hand, havent gotten that far yet, but BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2's look sweet. I believe the 255/45YR18 keeps the same tire diameter so you wouldnt have to adjust the speedo. They make the tire in a TT (traditional tread) also, not sure if they offer that size though. Have heard they are on the loud side, not sure if that concerns you. Also makes a difference in your climate. These are great summer tires. Great wet and dry performance, but zippo in the snow, so i'm told. I did some research on the subject but pockets arent deep enough yet for wheels and tires. Best of luck!

if you want the car to handle very well then go with falken Azenis rt 615, for the price they are the best road racing/ street tire (only for high performance, tread does not last long)

255s up front, 275s out back......

Had the BF Gs (NTs) on a previous set of wheels and did not like the way they rode at all..... very happy with the Nittos.

Hauss1 - I paid $163.99 each for the 255s and about $196 each for the 275s.

Hey bro - here's a page with lots of photos
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index....opic=29529&hl=

The hood is from RK Sport in CA and YES, the vents are open and functional - they both shunt air into one channel that dumps the air right on top of the air filter.

This hood gets lots of attention for sure.....

Hey you got your tune from Lidio and Alt Auto! How do you like it? Do you have any idea if they plan on doing tunes for the Predator?? Or are they just going to stick with SCT?....

Not to sound stupid or insulting, do you think the quality and durability are good? I just want to make the best decision for the buck. I will only put about 8k a year if that.

IMO, BFG KDW's look to be a great tire. I've heard that they are one of the best street tires out there.

My experience with other BFG tires has been that they wear a bit quicker than most due to the softer compound used (which is better for a performance tire).

However, if you're only putting 8k a year on, you should get quite a few years out of them.

Well I am with Dan on the BF Gs - heard lots of good things - just that some wear quickly compared to other tires. I think the NT design looks bad hiney - but I just didn't like the ride my car had after install so I swapped them out.

I haven't barely had the Nittos on for a whole month so I can;t say anything about wear yet- in general manufacturing, I think the qaulity of the tire is excellent. I have heard nothing bad about Nittos - and they are the tire of choice on all STEEDA cars.
