I'm asking for feedback on Setting alignment on Adjustable panhard bars on lowered Stangs. I know alot of TMS members are running them, all info would be greatly appreciated!

 

Hey there Scott what I did was take a piece of string and tie a little weight on one end of it and tape the other on the edge of your fender so that the string hangs down by your rim/tire.
Do this with both sides so that you can see the distance from the string to your rim or tire and then measure that distance or in my case I just had my wife outside with me and she just told me which side was sticking out more. I then adjusted the panhard bar to compensate the difference until both sides had an equal amount of space between the string with a weight on it and my fender.

PS make sure you use Loc Tite on the nuts so that they dont un-screw themselves.

I have the Steeda; I didn't use locktite but it hasn't come loose yet. Nice piece, needed it after lowering the rear.

 

So your saying, your rear is still pretty tight!......

Mine's not lowered but I'd still say what mustangshadow said is pretty much it. Only other thing I would add is to try to make the adjustments with the suspension loaded (car on the ground or on ramps if you can't fit underneath). Lifting the car changes the suspension geometry so any adjustments you make with it in the air won't necessarily translate to when it's on the ground. I speak from experience on that one.
