Time for a new clutch AGAIN

Gonna be getting another clutch soon. This time I don't wanna **** around. I've been looking at the Centerforce DF, which I've heard are indestructible. I go to the track about twice a month and my car is fairly modded so I want something good. Don't want anything too crazy since its my daily driver. Any suggestions?

Yea I've heard a lot of great things about them. I'd really like to spend less that 5 bills though :/

Nope just tuned and geared, the DA has to be good tho, last night it was 50 degrees with a DA of 200 feet, first gear was useless and 2nd to 3rd felt like 1st to 2nd, tho I have chirped 4th at the track a few times with the DA at 2800 feet and ran a 13.1

Yea the weather sucks right now where I'm at. I have full exhaust, cams, CAI, 410s and an email tune. My best so far is a 13.56@105. I think she's got low 13s high 12s with some more driver mods haha

+1 on the McLeod, I've been very impressed with my RXT, still going strong with 24k on the clutch.

Exedy also makes an excellent clutch if a bit pricey.

I just installed an Exedy Mach 500 this past spring. It seems to be working great, but my only complaint is pedal pressure as it is a bit more stiff than stock.

I have the Exedy Mach 400 with their flywheel - it doesn't require more effort than stock but it grabs harder and has a little less momentum so I need to give it more RPMs than stock when creeping from a stop or it'll bog in parking lot or low speed street driving. The clutch is great, it's just made me realize I need stickier tires to put the power down

Yea I think I'm gonna go with the centerforce. Now my problem is that I want to get a new flywheel. I didn't want to resurface mine again and they don't make a regular cheap stock replacement. So I think I'm gonna have to cave and get a nice one :/ ill probably get a centerforce flywheel too.

For driveability you'll probably want to go with steel instead of aluminum. There's a lot of discussion about it, here's one thread http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...-flywheel.html where even a vendor is saying to stay away from aluminum

Yea I'm definitely going with a steel flywheel. Better for launching too, so I've been told.
