Time for a clutch!! What to get??
Hey fella's, its been a long while since ive been on here.
Been driving the stang the last few days. this afternoon I got on her pretty good on some open roads. Turning onto a road I dropped down into 3rd gear and when I gave it gas I got a really LOUD squeal noise come from under the car. It got loud above 30MPH. It does it in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Took it home and let it settle for a few hours, it began to squeal on startup. It go's away when I press the clutch in. Sounds like my throw out bearing went bad. guess its time for a new clutch?
I'm totally new to clutches and have no idea what to get and what not. I'm whipple'd pushing 490HP and over 500TQ.
what clutch do you guys recommend? should I get a new flywheel as well? Like i said, I'm totally new to clutch/flywheel assemblies.
any help or input you can give would be great!

I've am running the Spec 3+ with their aluminum flywheel for over a year now. Pretty happy with the holding power but the spec is hard to drive in traffic since it is difficult to slip it with the stiff springs in it. Aluminum flywheel is great (in my op) since the motor spins up pretty fast but you have to keep the rpms up when shifting. Took me a while to get used to this setup but I like it.
