Tillman Speed Performance Packages

We're working on putting together some packages for S197's with complete kits with CAI/Tuner/Driveshaft/CMCV's/UDP's, etc.

We know that there are going to be some people who already have the CAI and Tuner, etc and are interested in a more advanced package for your typical items you purchase next after your intake and tune.

What are some packages that people would be interested in seeing?

http://www.apdperformance.com/produc...-packages.html

Let me know so that we can get these packages together and on the website. All input is appreciated! THANKS!

I would do a CAI/CMCV plates package with tuner so its all in one swoop. If you don't need the tune for the UDP's then sell them as an option.

The UDP's aren't neccessarily a "wear" item. You won't have to replace them. You should be set for the life of your car.

A cool package for people with all the bolt-ons would be longtubes/cams or if they already have headers, maybe heads/cams.

Deep down, I wish I went with longtubes, but I got talked out of it . As for new heads, IMO the power gains dont justify the price.

Yeah, but I have seen 30+rwhp gains from heads. Actually livernois got 40hp from their regular $1695 stage 1's.

Your lookin at somewhere around 42 dollars a horsepower for the heads... and thats only gaining 30+ if u get lucky to get 40 yourself... money doesnt grow on trees though... even if you spent somewhere along the lines of $6000 on a supercharger your lookin at the same price per hp ratio... but depending on your tune your getting alot more horsepower... but thats not even really an educated estimate because I dont study the prices as much as you do... but 2000 dollars for 40 hp if that much... just cant justify spending that much on it...

do you really really have all the mods needed to be installed? It seems like you have had those listed as to be installed for months now?

If you must know, my parents have not had time to take it to get the parts installed and I am still waiting on a new tune for the delete plates.

I thought the idea behind all these parts you dad is buying "you" for "your" car was so you and your dad could install them together... so all this stuff your parents have to take your car to get it all installed? That just sounds like daddy pumps the money in and you can tell all your friends at school how hot your car is?

Look, I research mods for my parents car, I ask my parents to buy them, then if they do buy them, I help install the mods if they are simple do it yourself ones.If they are professional level mods, then my parents take it to a performance shop to get them installed.

Back To Topic, Tillmanspeed, how much would a LT's,Cams package cost if you sold it? 2100-2200? Or a Stage 2 Head/LT package? 3500-3600?
