Is a throttle body spacer worth it?

I saw one over at AM for a good price on clearance and was wondering what everyone thinks about these? Right now I'm stock with just a BAMA tune and axle back exhaust. Is it worth getting this? Will I feel differences in torque and throttle response? I want to get a CAI but being a college student, the funds are there yet. So that won't be until the summer. So I saw this and to satisfy my modding addiction. What do you guys think?

okay. Just curious though, where does AM get the ~10 hp gain from then? Where they pulling that from?

I would bet than when they say "up to 10hp gain" they mean with one of their bama tunes. I just can't see that little spacer modifying the airflow so much that you get 10hp. 10hp is what I'd expect out of a CAI....

But hey, it's cheap, so get one if you want, and let us know what you think!

Which I have one of their BAMA tunes. So even if boosted throttle response would be nice. I'm indifferent about this. I guess since its half off for $40, I feel like it's worth a shot. Seems to have good reviews.

Yeah, do it. And then let me know if it was worth the 40 bucks! hahaha. I see in some of the reviews people mention increased fuel efficient, I'd definitely be interested in that..

Probably could. But unless the bores line up smoothly, and I bet they don't because the GT500 TB is larger diameter, you'd probably do more harm than good by creating a bunch of turbulence in the TB.

No I meant getting one to fit a gt500 ... I'm not really sure why I can't just bolt the gt500 tb right up.. I have not tried...

Don't be a noob. Spacers don't do a thing for your vehicle everyone knows that.

When it says "up to" it means , we guarantee it won't be anymore than that and that it will definitely be less ...
