Is the throttle body spacer a worthwhile mod? Is it just an aluminum plate with through holes for the mounting screws and throttle holes? I have access to a full machine shop and can make my own if I have dimensions/plans for one. Does anyone have this info?

I personally don't have one, but I have heard from a few other members that it wasn't worth it.

Its def. worth it. It's also a device that makes your throttle response even more remarkable. Few More Ponies, more torque and better fuel economy!! I went fro 17 MPG to 23 MPG, I kid you not!

I bought one that someone else didn't want - my mpg went up from 19-20 to 21. Not a ton, but a little. Haven't gotten back on a dyno to see if it is 1-5 HP or whatever. I do know I haven't changed driving styles and got better mileage and the throttle does feel slightly more responsive in 2nd and 3rd.

Not sure if there are any HP/TQ gains, but the improved throttle response from it was worth the 100 bucks (and I have an aftermarket tune from Bamachips that rocks!).
