They also tested the TB in combination with the upcoming BBK Cold-Air Kit. The two items together posted a gain of 27.2 Horsepower and 37.8 Ft. Lb. Torque without any reflashing.

I am sure some members on this site will buy them and test them for the rest of us. Sort of our own prooving grounds.

However, I will be doing 5 performance mods all at one time, so I won't be able to say just how much power each item added by itself, unfortunately. I would dare say that since BBK supplied the parts to Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford, and MM&FF did the testing themselves, the results they published are probably pretty accurate.

I'm only repeating what I have read on this site and my experience from reading weight lifting magaizines, and that is that the publishers of the magazines are "friendly" with their advertizers when it comes to numbers and performance.

I am also skeptical of the gains determined by MM&FF, but it's really easy to verify them...just bolt on the two parts to a stock GT. Hopefully you'll get +-5 hp/tq due to ambient weather variables. Contrast that to trying to verify the claims in the bodybuilding mags, where they can say "well your diet/genes/routine/body chemistry/recovery routine/etc/etc affected the outcome of your results." That's really the reason why they can get away with making any claims they want in the realm of supplements.
That's just my opinion. I'm also into the weight lifting thing, so when you made that comparison, it got me thinking.
