for those who installed O/R pipe how did u get factory h pipe clamps to move. mine are stuck and i got everythnig disconnected right now. im a real bind. please help!!!!. i tried wd40 to no avail so far. it twists a bit side to side but not moving backwards toward the rear of the car

SLide them toward the "rear" of the car....they should come loose...

try tapping them with a hammer and dowel or something...they shouldn't be that tough..

I remember having an issue with it as well. I was able to loosen them up with some cheap spray lubricant from the dollar store. Works way better than WD-40.

Do you have any play between the two pipes? You should be able to push the over axle pipe back enough to pull out the H pipe. If not, just go unbolt the hangers on your mufflers, and you'll have plenty of movement. It should only take a few extra minutes.

i got it. there were clips on the clamps that kept them in place. i finally got them loose. man OH man the SLP's with the O/R H pipe are insanely loud!!!!!

Hey Ron, nice meeting you yesterday, so let me get this straight, judging from the time of your post, you must have gone right home after our TMS east meet was over and tackled this problem...man, I would have loved to hear you car with that OR H pipe [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

that i did. this is too loud imo but i may keep it. im gonna get pulled over every day haha

I thought they were too loud at first as well. I got used to them and everyone I know loves them. However, I had a friend ride behind me the other night on the way to a meet and he claims that when i'm giving it gas he can't carry on a conversation even with his windows up. Cold cranking in the wee hours of the morning makes a lot of his neighbors mad as well.... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]

yeah, for me it was the cold start at 5:30am, that killed it.
