I have had mine installed for about 3 months with no issues at all. I also installed the Steeda underdrive pullies at the same time. The benefits are free horsepower. Best estimates are 16/18 rwhp. The car also revs much quicker. A side benefit is better gas milage. I gained about 2 mpg with this mod. At todays prices you will see a payback pretty quickly. No regrets with this mod yet.

These are great mods and I'm considering them. Just one question.....where do you shop? I want to shop there too!

Im thinking of buying this as well. RPMOUTLET.COM has them for $308.95 .

Is that a good price? Also is it safe to use on a dailey driver that will sometimes sit in bumper to bumper traffic?

Well I just ordered it from Summit PART# MEZ-WP346

Question though, how hard is it to wire and do I really need the extra wiring kit?

Easy to wire and you don't need the "kit", all you need is a Bosch 30amp relay, which comes in the wiring kit. You can get the relay at an auto parts store or Radio Shack for a few bucks. As for tapping into a switched 12v there are a few options.

I mounted my relay on the firewall between the battery and the fender.

seriously 16 to 18 rwhp??? I had no idea it was that strong. Sounds like a pretty strong hp per dollar combination. I already have the steeda pullies and would love to see 15+ rwhp. Has anyone actually dyno'd the pump? Will it really yeild this type of improvement over pullies alone?

If so this is a jumbo bargin when compared with long tubes!

For what it's worth, I was talking to an installer at Brenspeed last weekend, and he strongly recommended the pullies/pump combo. Said it worked incredibly well, their shop car has had it for months without problems, and they offer the combo together on their site and have a hard time keeping them instock.

I'm tempted, but I'm not sold on replacing a critical engine part with an electric motor........however, these cars have electric fans so maybe my theory is b.s.

Hey Eric,
The 16/18 rwhp is a combination of the pullies and H2O pump. It really makes a big difference in how quickly the motor revs also. It is worth the bucks as a easy bolt on mod.

I read it will also increase my MPG slighty!

Now if I could just fix my lead foot problem I might get Fords advertised MPG.
