I have decided to get an intake for my car and I am leaning towards the JLT. Do those you that have had it for a while still recommend it? It still seems to be the best bang for the buck and since I have a Diablo tuner already, I figure I might as well get one that needs a tune so I can take full advantage of it.

Thanks

i'd still recommend it...ever since I got the replacement with the aluminum insert on the filter end, I've had no problems.

My JLT works great but I have improved it with the wrap before all the heat problems came up. Pleased! And only $150 OLE Jay has been awful quiet now that no one is slamming his pipe. Maybe I should say something nasty about it to wake him up. LOL

Love the JLT!!!
It was just a small bit of trouble getting the insert in, but have about 7K miles and no problems.
Great gains and great sounds.
Thanks again Jay T.

What are all the heat problems? What is a wrap?

Well...that all depends on how you view things...IMO only.

The JLT CAI is a nice piece, Im not trying to take anything away from them at all, their product comes highly, highly recommended.
I almost bought one, but decided the other route.JLT was my next choice for sure from all the positive feedback they have.

The one thing that bothers me about all the CAI's, is that they are a modified version of the stock route in one way or another as far as location goes. As many of us know, theres not a great deal of fresh air available there, as compared to the older years.
Thats just my thinking behind it...
