I'm ready to bite the bullet and put 4.10s in my baby and I'm trying to find the best place online to buy them. I want FRPP gears and while looking at their website, I noticed that they have a new part number, M-4209-G410A (they added the A). They only place I've found online that sells FRPP gears is RPM Outlet and they only have the old part number.
Can anyone help me out?

You dont need to buy an entire install kit, just get the two bearings from a ford dealer. Thats the only other thing(s) that the installer will need.

Why not let your insaller buy the parts? They won't mark them up that much and if you have any concerns after the install like excessive lash, noise... I'm sure they'll be much more willing to keep you satisfied than if you show up with buch of parts and say "put these in for me".

To be honest, I've very worried about them being noisy. I hope it is an issues with people not having a good installer and not just a random thing. The shop I'm taking the car too has a good reputation so that makes me feel a little better.
I ended up buying the gears and install kit from Summit but that's good advise for someone looking to do this in the future. Now I just have to be patient and wait till next Wednesday since that was the soonest they could get me in.
