Your right, especially when Vortech is suppose to be one of the most reliable superchargers out there.

Why not do both? But common Torrence, you dont want Ron to be blowing you away evrytime we get together? You can blow your engine either way with an improper tune so just get the blower and go conservative. Heck, this racing is starting to get me addicted now. I'm considering getting the turbo setup for mine ( I especially like it now that I got the SLP's) just to have that power at my foot when I want it. Now if only I can figure out how to shift at the track and I might be able to get some decent runs in.

Ron get your KB soon so I can get your C&L. I need to get some speed in my baby.

Welcome to the family Torrence! Please post pics and videos after the install is complete..

I must admit, I am alittle jealous.. The PSH has proven 467RWHP can be all at your fingertips reliably with a BAMAChips tune..

Of course you wont be running that tune as a daily driver, but just knowing a 5 minute re-program puts 467RWHP @ the wheels is insane..

This is really why people have tried to steer you clear of the V2 setup.. But you caught yourself, before you made the biggest mistake of your life.. LOL!!

Whenever people tell you to get nitrous, think of a 5 minute reprogram that nets you 467RWHP with a slight twitch of your foot onto the gas, then think of how far your foot will go up their ---! LOL!!

Welcome to the family Torrence!

Centri are generally louder than twinscrews. And I have heard several Saleens in person and they weren't much louder than my KB.

This guy is selling his Procharger because it was too loud for him: http://www.modularfords.com/forums/2005-mu...-bay-50877.html

Save buddy. Actually I know it's easier said than done.

You should find a shop that actually lets you make payments on this thing, whenever you want. So in a way you are commiting to buying it, but only paying when you want and when you can to get it.

I'm definitely from the 'silent assassin' camp myself. I have had several centrifugals in the past including Vortechs, and I hate the sounds they make.

I had the old ones with the straight-cut gears before they had the (V-2?) with the quieter helical gears. It sounded horrible at idle although some people liked it. Not for me. I think the new ones are a lot different though.

You Know My thoughts here. The first three cars to get into the 11,s were Nitrous and keep your eyes open to see what the first three to run Tens are running.

The Torque numbers on Nitrous are way up compared to the HP Numbers. So if your looking for a Instant Major Kick is the **** that will give you stretch marks on your MUG, hit The Juice.............
