You obviously didn't see how much a Shelby carbon fiber hood went for...

that is a insane price for a cheap cast wheel...even the shelby 20" alcoas in dura-brite were 'only' 500 apiece- but they ARE about the highest quality youll find anywhere.

LOL- I'd forgot about that 26,000.00 shelby hood...where did that saga end? didnt they eventually 'discount' it to like 10~12k?

Ok, if the Shelby didn't get it figured out for ya, Sebastian... They are thinking they are freakin' ROUSH, and if they can get it for those rims, they will.

Another reason I don't buy into Jordache-jeans car upgraders. They are snobby bastidges.

---

I want to say the hood did come down quite a bit, but they wanted the remains of the other one before they'd let the new one get sent. I think your number of about 10K is right, but I didn't ever see the ultimate outcome myself.

probably 30+ pounds a piece, a little bit heavier than the factory 18s which are around 25 lbs.

Oh, I understood the Shelby reference (I won't buy from Shelby), but I guess I've never looked at the price of rims from Roush either. Given that the rims are "special order only", I'd say they're not sellin' too many at that price...
