I'm about 10 seconds away from hitting the confirm button to buy the stuff from bamachips. This will be my first mod. Seems like everyone likes this stuff a lot.

Not really, great combo. You may want to checkout the SCT Livewire over the Xcal-2. It's the new kid on the block for SCT tuners. Neither will give you more power than the other. However, if it was my money I would get the latest tool out there.

it looks cool, but it seems to be just the tuner plus a datalogger and gtech combined. I'd rather put the 200 towards getting my suspension stuff.

How long does it usually take for Bamachips to ship these out? If I ordered this morning, will i have it for the weekend (dyno day)?

Try giving Doug a call tonight 205-302-0231. Maybe you can persuade him to get the Tune/CAI shipped tomorrow. Doug has great customer service when he is available, but he does stay swamped.
I had my car dynoed after swapping gears with Doug. He didn't touch the tune he sent me. It was spot on! Spark, A/F ratio, torque/hp curve were all perfect.
So, if you can't get the CAI/tune in by the weekend, then you at least should have peace of mind knowing Doug's tunes are great. Although, I do understand if you want to know your HP/Torque numbers. I was at 290rwhp/305rwtq with CAI 93Torque tune, FRPP Stingers, and O/R H pipe. Maybe this will give you an idea of where you might be. Without the exhaust/h pipe you would probably be around 280rwhp/295rwtq.
