tigerhonaker: When you ran the ATAK mufflers, did they drone? I assume you had a 05-09 GT w/ the 4.6L 3V V8 (it looks like a green Bullitt)?
I'm trying to figure out if my 07 GT would drone with the S-Type (11750) or the ATAK (11806). The only other mod I have is the Steeda CAI (Shelby GT cold air intake).

Nothing on it in regards to, (Mechanical) is still Stock.
The outside body panels are still Stock & the Outside mirrors.
Now that I have shared the above with you.
Mufflers and Drone.
I have had all types of Mufflers on my Mustang over the past 4-yrs.
Some were so LOUD I had to change them if I did not want a Bucket Full of Tickets.
The Borla "Atak" system including their tailpipes I ran.
There is, {No-Drone} inside the cabin even in my Mustang.
My (Opinion) is there would "Not" be much difference between the S-Type & Atak mufflers as far as Sound.
I can tell you I had to remove the, Borla Atak Mufflers from my Mustang as they were just simply,
Way-Way to LOUD !!!
Not inside the Cabin but outside the car.
I also tried out the Corsa "Extreme" mufflers and they were also, LOUD and only stayed on for like maybe an hour or so.
I Matted it a few times and went straight back and had them removed.
Just keep in mind I am speaking of a Very-Highly-Modified Mustang with around 700 HP at the Crank.
I went back to the Borla "Touring" mufflers so I can actually drive the Mustang and NOT constantly be looking over my, Shoulder for the, Dreaded-Blue-Lights.
I hope the above is of some Help to you in muffler choice.

Wish you could have went to the, 2012 Bullitt Nationals with us.
I just got back last evening and just now trying to get caught up on E-Mails.
