Definetly pricey. You can search car-part.com for a Mark VIII block or a 96-98 Cobra for cheaper.

My thoughts exactly... it isn't going to sell for $760, that's for sure.

I agree 100%, but with bare blocks going for $2500 this, at least for the next 21hrs, is very cheap.

Maybe the "Reserve" is $3000 or more? Hard to say...

Back in 98 when I blew up my 96 Cobra I could only get parts for Ford direct. Block was $2,000 Crank was $750 Rods were $500 Pistons were $750. Now that's not cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think anything under $1500.00 would be a great deal!!!

Won't work with 3V heads, not enough clearance for the valves in the top of the pistons. Be carefull of purchasing things like this before you research.

Did the Mark VIII use the Teksid block? I thought those were only reserved for the Cobra's

Wow!! Thought the bids would have went higher than $801.00. The block and crank in new condition (never used) is worth more than that.

It is really only worth what someone will pay for it... and ebay has been a bad place for rare items it seems (recently). that's what i've been noticing at least
