tein spring/lowering spring question

im buying tein springs for my 08 mustang....... some say ill need new strut caps..... is that true?........ my car has only 2k miles......also anything else i need like relocation brackets or camber bolts?....... need honest and straight answer thanks

Yes! on the strut caps, camber bolts yes, and if your dropping over 1'' LCA reco brackets wouldn't hurt either

not to add confusion but I thought they changed the strut caps for 08?

yep! but as far as I know Ford still recommends not reusing the caps after a spring change! I tried a set of the new caps on my third set springs and the ones I have on now and I found them to be junk too Thats why I got a set of J&M camber adjustable strut mounts unbelievable craftsmanship! spherical bearings larger mount bolts there frigging indestructible and life time garrantee!.....

I have to admit I bought the 08 strut caps from ford and mine still made the clunking noise. I assume its from droping it more than one inch. People on here have stated the new caps did fix their clunk even being droped one inch.
The cap your talking about getting are 250 bux worth the cash if that clunking drive you nuts. I am almost to that point lol
