Just received it today !

TCI is no longer engraved in the shifter handle,
they provide a sticker instead ...

Cost savings ...

Maybe I'll use a Ford Racing sticker, or go with a round chrome handle, like the one shown in post #119.

does the sticker have the same design as the laser engraved ones? i don't like the design with the fake buttons anyways.

Anybody with one of these installed live in Illinois or Iowa? I'd sure like to check one out in person.

Any idea who makes this round handle?

I ordered a Mr.Gasket #9627, it just arrived,

the diameter is about 1½" ...

Is that a typical size?

It is an awesome shifter regardless of what you stick on top of the shifter handle. I am just fine with the way it is from the manufacturer but I understand why some guys want to modify it!! I'm not into the ball thing.

Two years and mine's still going strong! As much fun as the day I installed it.

i just got the tci in the mail today. i shimmied under the car to check out the clips, but found the one clip #2 looks about the same, but the cable clip #3 looks different. is it possible to remove the #2 clip( goes onto the shift lever) from below and lift the shifter out enough to get to the cable clip? i didnt see any tabs to push?

i`m installing this on a 05 V6. american muscle says it will work, i hope so

never mind, i got it. the other night i was looking at the side of the trans and not the shifter. i got it installed today without much trouble. didnt breask anything either. the linkage clip, if you push towards the driveshaft, just inside the clip you will feel it move and then push the clip up with your other hand to release it. then it pops off the linkage easy. i used the same tiny screw driver to push on the little dots on the frame clip, and it came off pretty easy too.

Quick question though does the latch in the front wiggle a little bit?

Also american muscle didn't package it good imo but fast delivery as usual ..

Yep the front latch wiggles a bit, but mine is over 3 years old now and zero issues. Good luck with the install!

I did it without a write up at all! It's not that difficult, worst part was getting under the car.
