I called Diablosport just now, and asked about the K&N

First-

Diablosport is currently doing testing, and expects to have a SPECIFIC K&N tune out very soon.

Secondly...and this is something new to me-

To check whether your car is running Lean or Rich...do the following-

Hook up the predator, and start the real time data logging. Drive the car at 60mph in 5th gear (or OD) for 1 or 2 miles. Go under "Gas Driveability" in the predator. If you get a "+" percentage it is running TOO LEAN. If you get a "-" percentage, it is running TOO RICH.

If everyone knew this already, then go ahead and start the stoning.

But I thought this was cool.

the performance tune is part of the original tunes available with the car, not sure what you mean you hope the tune would come pre-loaded...

right. The guy at Diablosport suggested I go up to GRC performance and have them make me a tune in the mean time.

just talked to GRC Performance in Mission Viejo, CA.

$125 an hour for a cutom Tune. They estimate not more than an hour. that seems really expensive. I wish I knew what to adjust on the predator to do it myself.

Talking

You will look at the long term fuel trims on the Data Logging. That is what I did when I installed my custom tune for my custom CAI, and it worked beautifully.

$350 for a custom tune here in Maryland. That's the over the phone quote from Amazon Racing...I passed on it.

My long term fuel trims showed between -9% and -12% on the first, and varied between -6 and -9% on the 2nd one. I'm just running the 93 octane tune with a drop K&N filter with no HC trap. Guess I need to lean it out a bit.
