Cool Suspension Package question

Has anyone compared the Saleen, Steeda, FRPP, and Roush suspension packages? Is there a clear winner out of any of them? I'd like to drop my car and impove cornering. It is also my daily driver though, so I dont want to make it overly jaring. If I were to go tokico D-Specs, what progressive springs are the best?

The more common suspension package in use is the one pieced together by yourself.

I pieced mine together for a fraction of the cost of those packages.

Just a thought.

I'm putting mine together as well:
- Tokico D-specs
- Eibach pro springs
- Steeda HD strut mounts
- Granatelli Camber Adjuster
- Saleen front sway bar
- Saleen Watts Link (using eibach's rear sway bar)

I'm going to powdercoat a few things before I get them installed, but basically that will be my setup in the next few months...

- Steeda HD strut mounts = $230 from an authorized dealer in town
- Granatelli Camber Adjuster = $60 shipped - they had them on sale a while ago
- Saleen front sway bar = $100 shipped on ebay - you can't buy this separately, you have to buy it as part of their suspension package
- Saleen Watts Link (using eibach's rear sway bar) = $995 from JDM and $150 for the eibach rear - chances are I will sell the Saleen one, but I have to see it when I get it before I decide.

Look above at the prices. I've purchased all these over the course of 3 years/3 cars (05 GT, 06 Roushcharged and 07 GT/CS). I'm done trading in, so everything goes in the GT/CS. Fun for me...

do you really need the Granatelli Camber Adjuster or could you get away with the camber bolt for under 30 bucks?? I'm thinking the camber bolts will do the trick

I had the Eibach ones but @ $50 bucks + S&H I couldn't pass it up (an equivalent kit - Steeda's - is over $200 I think? These are exactly the same, that's just crazy...) From what the shop told me the Eibach's did the trick though.

The Steeda HD strut mounts allow an extra 1 deg or camber adjustment, so you may not need camber bolts or the Granatelli kit

I like my Steeda ultra-lites and D Specs. I think that you need to change shocks/struts if you lower the car w/ springs. You can create your own package based upon your needs. My upgrade list (including suspension pkg) is in my signature. Have fun.

If I had to do it all over again I would go with a coil-over system from ROUSH. Expensive but you get the maximum versatility in the long run. Right now I have the ROUSH stage 2 suspension with a JDM watts link handles great be I want the car to sit a little lower.
