Hey Chris,
Looks like great fun and you will love the power. Not sure how the auto will like the extra thump!! You may need to beef everything down stream of the engine.

But were still waiting on someone to break there toy to find these limits.

I've got a Saleen unit sitting in the box waiting to go in. I've got to see what my dealer will charge for the install. I'd rather do it myself, but of course I'm a little worried about the warranty issue.
I looked long and hard at all the available blower options out there. I think the Saleen unit is hands down the best set up out there. Simple install with a clean appearance-it looks like it was meant to go there. And this blower is incredibly efficient. 400+rwhp at only 4psi. There is a lot of potential there that other blowers can't touch. Imagine what it could do at 8 psi!? But it all depends on what you want to do. Some people prefer the centrifugals. I'm more partial to the twin screw myself. Different strokes for different folks.
Good luck!

Planing on the Saleen system my self. I just dont like the fact you have to send them your CPU for programming. I have a Predator and I am not afraid to use it. Just send me the file and I will install it.

There are several getting well over 400rwhp at <5psi, with a few minor bolt-ons. Good thread here: http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthr...96&page=1&pp=30

I want the Saleen SC unit. I don't have the money right now (maybe in like 3 or 4 years I can afford that!)

just bolting on the saleen SC is good for 400hp at crank, not 400rwhp at 5psi. although some simple mods can get u close to 400rwhp on that boost. the problem for me is that it is not air to air intercooled, and i forsee problems upgrading the intercool setup to make running more than 8lbs of boost safe at all

Saleen uses the same blower for the S281E that puts out 500hp on forged internals. I don't see why that blower can't be used to put some serious power out of these cars. I wonder how much boost the 3-valve can take.

Ben & Tim... I am jealous. Because of a pending real estate deal, I can't spring the bucks right now to get mine... it will still be a month or two for me.
Be sure to let us know how it goes!!

Side Note: Any of you Supercharged guys think about running Methanol injection? I was looking at this kit: Snow Performance
