I think running a secondary wire is better. The major concern is getting the 6 prong plug that interfaces with the pump.

 

I HAVE A CALL INTO JDM, THEY ARE USING THESE PUMPS WITH GREAT RESULTS. I will Post when I have More Answers. It can be done Just not as Plug and Play as originally Believed.

I ordered my pumps this morning as I am confident that between all of us on the boards we will find a appropriate wiring solution...I am not a wiring genius but I'll help in any way I can. We should learn everything we can about the existing stock GT fuel system so we can adapt the new pumps keeping in mid how voltage (electronic) sensitive these new Pony's are...

I will say this, Kevin has been up since 3:30 this morning looking for a pig tail and wiring solution. Now that is dedication to ones sport and customers!

 

As Per Conversation With Jim At Jdm. He has been working with Prototype Shelby Pieces. I will be Supplying Production Parts to JDM for Checking of Planned Wiring Kit for Shelby Pump Conversion. He has prototype Harnesses at the present but needs to verify Ford did not change anything on the production PUMPS. I highly Reccomend no Homemade Solutions for wiring in this Pump. I will advise as I am Informed.

Again I apologize for any Difficulties incurred from not totally verifying this conversion first.

Ford is unwilling at this time to Help on Some Questions which would shed more light on this conversion. They Reply is they have little info until the car is produced. That will be soon though!

FYI, At this time my Parts Catalog Shows only ONE FPDM on the Shelby. A different Part Number than the GT at this Time.

It will also be most helpful when the Wiring Diagrams are Released .

I'm not nervous... hehe. If I want a pair, JDM will have them for me on Friday. But, I'm not yet 100% convinced I really need them.

 

Ford has Released Wiring Diagrams on 07 Mustang.
I have outside source researching Possible Production of Harness Kit.

Ford racing will be selling a Kit in the Future but it is not known if they will sell Harness separately or Pricing. It has been given a Part# BTW. FRPP Tech Line has no Info on Kit yet. I got My info from advance Info rep at Frpp.

At the Present to my knowledge the Only Kit Available is the Saleen Kit which is what I believe JDM is selling at the moment.
